The decline in scripture memorization in the church
First, is there a decline across our traditionally evangelical churches in America? (I've seen it in my church & community)
If there is a decline, why?
If true, what ramifications result?

I think this is a good idea and would like to see some thoughts on this from Mr. Challies. Thanks for suggesting this.
As far as ideas and tools, I would recommend checking out The National Bible Bee (www.biblebee.org), Memverse (www.memverse.com) which is a great web app for memorizing Scripture, and Scripture Memory Fellowship. There are lots of resources on this - John Piper has a few as well. And if you talk to some people in the Memverse community they might be able to help. :)
